Donís José Català, a fellow with whom I met in battle of words against the arguments of Black Pawns (those individuals who proclaim that the terrorist attacks of 11-M had been a new GAL) has written a book entitled "The fifth invasion : Islam 711-2011 "In which highlights the danger that the ruling fundamentalist radicalism (at least according to what transcends the media) between the followers of the religion of Mohammed finished devouring the condescending and overly indulgent Western democracies.
As it is conceived the book, perhaps capable of restoring reading vision some people would rather keep their eyes blindfolded to the obvious (and as real as the nearly 200 deaths of 11-M) danger of the religious terrorism use the Koran as justification for their indiscriminate killing, but the biased conclusions leads the storyline of the book can make a play dangerous and reckless if not taken into account some issues that are not reflected in the edited text.
That the Koran, as shown in the book, contains teachings and passages inconsistent (and even confronted) with our democracy is more than obvious, it is equally clear that, based on a literal reading of the Koran, the only conclusion possible that one can reach is that Islam is cruel, violent and merciless both believers and non-believers. And in the same way, the conclusion also (as indeed it is concluded in the book) that there can not be a moderate Islam taking the Qur'an as a whole, beyond possible passages humanists (which also exist, although not reflected in the book) used by some currents of Islam that roam freely in our own societies.
The main problem with this whole series of conclusions that could be considered as true if we follow the literal reading of the Koran, is that you can get, as we shall see, the same conclusions regarding literal reading of reference books (the Bible) of any of the other two mainstream monotheistic religions (Judaism and Christianity), therefore, following the storyline of the book, could be declared undemocratic and radical, not too much trouble, the three religions.
Therefore, with respect to the treatment afforded to women and their social status (which is one of the main points discussed in the book) we find citations equivalent in the three religions:
" Men have authority over women
because Allah has made them superior to them.
good women are the truly devout, who guard the intimacy which Allah has ordained to be saved. But for those whose animosity
fear, admonish, and then leave them alone in bed, then pegadles (Quran 4:34)."But every woman prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head: for this is that if she were shaven. For if the woman does not cover, which also cut hair, and if it is disgraceful to women cut their hair or shave, which is covered. For a man should not cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God, but woman is the glory of man "(I Corinthians 11:5-7).
" When you go forth to war against your enemies, and the LORD thy God hath delivered into your hand, and take them captive, and seest among the captives a beautiful woman, and codiciares, and women take to you by , put it in your house, and she shave her head, and pare her nails and remove the clothing of her captivity, and will remain in your house, and bewail her father and her mother a full month, and then you come in unto her, and you be her husband, and she will be your wife "(Deuteronomy 21:10-13).
" your women keep silence in the churches: for they are not allowed to speak, but to be under obedience as also saith the law. And if you want to learn something, let them ask their husbands at home, it is shameful for a woman to speak in church "(I Corinthians 14:34-35). Nor
explicit cruelty to his enemies Qur'an is unique to Islam:
"Judith then approached the bar of the bed that was near the head of Holofernes, picked up his sword away, and going to bed, took him by the hair and said," Strengthen me in this hour, God of Israel !. Kill, then, all male children, and every woman who has had sex with a man. But let live and take for yourselves every girl who still have not had "" (Numbers 31:7-18).
" You too, Ethiopians," Victim of my sword will be them. " He extended his hand against the north, destroy Assyria, and leave Nineveh a desolation, barren as the desert "(Zephaniah 2:12-13).

Nor are unique to Islam the punishment of those who deviate from the Sacred Law (including the crucifixion, the refiner's fire or public lynchings):
" But if it proves to be true that virginity was not found in Young, then bring out the damsel to the door of the house of his father, and shall stone the men of his city, and die, because she hath wrought folly in Israel whore in her father's house, and put away evil from among you "(Deuteronomy 22:20-21).

Indeed, both Judaism (minor) and Christianity have been introducing changes to their own interpretations theological, having to qualify them and even deny them, to adapt to the societies in which they have been been built, and it is that Islam has the same problem as any other religion, no amendments can be introduced to texts that are immovable, since they contradict or change the word of a supposedly perfect superior being and lead inevitably to the death of one's religion, so that any evolution or adaptation to the social reality of each historical moment can only be implemented through self-interpretation of the word sacred. However, in the book Islam denied any possibility of interpretive evolution, when the reality is that no only that evolution has occurred in other religions, but that currently exist (and live with us) other interpretations of Islam and much less violent sticklers that transcend media.
The inclusion in the book of specific examples of such interpretations of Islam evolved (represented in our country for the most diverse Islamic societies) become a sort of witch hunt for incorporating in its ranks some particular individuals who have completed being formally charged with collaboration or even integration with Islamist terrorism, the previously determined that moderate Islam does not exist, uses these individuals (and by extension to partnerships which were built) to confirm. That confirmation of the radical Islamist association based on the existence of any terrorists in their ranks is entirely superficial, as it posits that the association was aware of terrorist activities and for a specific individual who knowingly received him with open arms, while the terrorist just passing by and came to the call of the association, which is far presume.
The next step leads inevitably to public administrations and governments, who are accused of financing Islamic terrorism to provide grants to Islamic societies, have been terrorists in their ranks or not (because, remember, has already been established previously that moderate Islam does not exist, or what is ultimately the same, that Islam equals terrorism), the book closes, therefore, the gateway to the promotion of Islamic religion is more in line with the values \u200b\u200bof our democracies.
At this point, we review every door that closes the book by declaring that moderate Islam does not exist:
- Islam does not evolve as they have done as Judaism or Christianity, since it is an inherently evil religion .
- associations are moderate Islamists, since there is no moderate Islam.
- Islamist associations could not be enforced by the State, since it would promote Islamic terrorism.
The big question that we can do is: So, what we do with who declares himself a follower of Islam? If we know that that means it is inherently evil (the only thing that has been able to learn of that religion), which is moderate but it may seem and can not be helped by the State since it is a potential terrorist ... the final solution seems clear, is not it?.
Ultimately, and without denying the reality presented in the book (that Islamist terrorism is a serious threat to our democracy and that current interpretations of Islam are an endless source of terrorists, even to the public and with impunity justify the motivations of mass murder), the conclusions you reach are dangerous and reckless as it only leaves the door open to those who do not want to give up their religion.
Maybe (just maybe) looking back at our history (including the latest, when adultery and homosexuality were not only for Christians sin, a crime for all the English) the conclusions would have been very different and had come to light the real problem of all religions before the law imposing medieval societies they left behind long ago catapults and armor can only become illuminated in feudal subjugation of the day, be it Muslim, Jew or Christian.
