A masked rider who fights against the unjust rule of the powerful people of Los Angeles during the days of English rule. His true identity is that of Don Diego de la Vega, a wealthy landowner. Don Diego returns from his studies in Spain, and realize that Los Angeles was under the command of Captain Monasterio, a cruel man who abused his power to accumulate personal wealth. Knowing that he alone could not defeat Monasterio and his men, Diego uses an underground shelter and adopts the secret identity of Zorro.
