A look back at Castelló

Castellón optimism abounds, and if you ask the taxpayer.

A year ago, on these same dates, it was learned the CPI for the month of July, which is used by the City of Castellón to make adjustments on their taxes, for two years, the CPI rose by 5.3% , and municipal taxes rose 5.7%. Last year, the CPI fell 1.4% in July, but the City Council Castellón and did not use the CPI, thus avoiding cutting taxes to the taxpayer, this year (with a CPI rise of 1.9% in July), no one says anything in the city of Castellón about what will happen with taxes. But the problem is not guess what will be the final decision of the PP (the tax cuts do not seem to be among the possible options), but the utter indifference of the taxpayer Castellon, not only to the randomness of that final decision, but also to use that the City of Castellón are making such increases in the tax burden of Castellón.

City Council is so buoyant economic Castellón that allowed the luxury of letting lose almost one million euros -E plan to throw away one of the projects (an occurrence of Mayor Alberto Fabra) of the grant requested the Government of Zapatero: the pots Breaker cars. So city coffers are overflowing Castellón that, not content with that million euros, the City of Castellón public places gives (which cost three million euros, financed, yes, by Plan-E) to businesses Private for nothing.

This demonstration waste of public money does not seem to affect the taxpayer least Castellon Apparently convinced (or accustomed) that this is the best (or only) way of doing politics and managing the money of all, perhaps the majority (increasing, according to the survey that is linked above) of Castellón be right (for what that all politicians are the same and it is better known evil than an unknown good), but I am convinced that there are other ways of governance and, above all, convinced that after eight years in office (and municipal, regional or national), it starts to rot and become corrupted by this strange habit of politicians to consider only what is actually yours is everyone's.

But back to Castellon a city we've seen over the past year, lifted by all directions of works of all kinds, so public works for the benefit of all taxpayers would be a good justification for recent increases in municipal taxes, and hence the passivity of Castellón to both wasteful (it is well known that this can survive without problems waste and corruption if you do something in return-either little or a lot-by Castellón). The problem comes when we discover (and to discover there to be very observant, just look at the posted instructions that accompany each work) that the City of Castellón not even one euro invested in major works that have been made in Castellón at least the last two years.

The big question may be the taxpayer Castellon (if you want to do that herself, there will always be those who prefer not to see, not hear, not talking and, of course, not thinking too much) is where you have gone to taxes and increases in recent years. Does anyone know?
